J.S. Cornell & Son, Inc. Builders & Construction Managers
Welcome

J.S. Cornell & Son is a general contracting and construction management firm founded in 1857 in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Later, around 1875, founder John Skillman Cornell took on his son, John Whiting Cornell, as a partner and moved to Philadelphia. He lived and had his office at Twentieth and Diamond Streets for many years and built some of the once beautiful brownstone homes in the area.

Up until the year 2000, the firm was continuously owned and managed by members of the Cornell family. In 2000, Allen and Bill Cornell (fourth generation Cornell’s) sold the company to two of their long time company executives, who had been with the company for over 24 years. The company has continued to prosper under the new ownership and has experienced continuous growth.

The goal of our company, as it always has been, is to provide high quality personalized construction services with many repeat customers.
