Rosenbach Museum and Library
Philadelphia, PA
The project consisted of taking two 1840’s historic registered brick
row houses on Delancey Place and converting one into a state of the art twenty-first
century museum and collections storage facility (Phase I). This existing interior
of the building was demolished from the bottom up to maximize the roof for protection
of the adjoining buildings.
Phase II involved upgrading the museum’s proper electrical, HVAC and
security and fire suppression system without disturbing the existing architectural
interior period details.
