Trinity Memorial Church
The church was originally built in 1875. On July 28, 1994, lightning struck
the church and destroyed the roof. Water damage ruined most of the interior,
including extensive damage to the stained glass from both heat and breakage.
After the fire, the parish decided to build what was essentially a new church
within the old walls. The pews were replaced by chairs to offer flexibility
of use; a new circular altar was designed; and completely new lighting, HVAC,
and sound systems were installed. The new, rebuilt, and revitalized church was
rededicated on May 18, 1997.
