The Steamfitter’s Local #420 – Union Hall

This renovation project involved major alterations to the general offices as well as the additions of a new 700 seat-meeting hall. The Architect's design scheme and the high visibility of the building, located adjacent to the Airport High Speed Line, required a metallic appearance to reflect the nature of the Steamfitter's trade. The graffiti-proof Robertson panels were selected to re-clad the existing structure as well as the new meeting hall. The contemporary interior design scheme utilizes borrowed lites, colorful materials and exposed structural and mechanical systems to impart a high-tech atmosphere for the entire structure.
