The Wistar Institute Pavilion
The work was to construct a new steel frame and glass multipurpose room addition. Also, to construct an
internal fire stair tower.
The work consisted of excavation, under slab PVC duct system, concrete foundations, and slab on grade.
The building has exposed steel framing, curtain wall cladding, and an insulated panelized translucent roof system.
The finishes include drywall partitions, ceramic flooring, and paint. A new multilevel fire stair tower was constructed
along with an ADA compliant man-lift. A new split HVAC system was installed along with miscellaneous plumbing
upgrades. The electrical system was upgraded along with new lights.
